Ramon “Mon-Mon” Mitra, a bemedalled Former Marine Captain and son of the late Speaker Ramon Mitra Jr. completed the senatorial slate of the Nacionalista Party headed by Sen. Manuel Villar Jr. as standard-bearer. He is also a recipient of the Distinguished Conduct Star, the second highest military award in the country given to soldiers who perform beyond the call of duty against overwhelming odds.

Mitra graduated from the Philippine Military Academy in 1988.t 45, Mon-Mon is backed by an extensive experience in administrative and operations management acquired from over 18 years experience in the military, private business and family-owned corporations, particularly in the fields of information technology, transportation, and agribusiness.

    There are a lot of candidates to choose from. No more Mitras for me.
