WRIGHT VOTE FOR BEBOT BELLO FOR SENADOR..
A MULTI-SECTORAL group in Mindanao said Tuesday it is endorsing the senatorial bid of former Justice Secretary Silvestre Belo III, saying he is in a good position to contribute to peace there.
“It is time we had a senator who truly understands the complexities of peace-building in Mindanao, and we are happy to strongly endorse fellow Mindanawon, justice and peace advocate Bebot Bello for senator in 2010,” Kusong [Strong] Mindanao said in a statement.
“Bello can contribute to a more meaningful discourse in the formulation of a national peace policy bill that would institutionalize the peace process to include the creation of a Permanent Peace Commission,” said Eliseo Mercado Jr., a priest and head of the group.
He said Bello was his comrade in BAYAN Mindanao during the Marcos regime.
Mercado said Bello, former head of the government panel negotiating peace with the communists under President Fidel Ramos, had proposed the inclusion of all stakeholders in the peace process. He believed that peace-building should not only be between the government and rebel forces but should involve all affected sectors.
Bello, an activist against Martial Law and human rights violations, was himself a victim of injustice during the martial law years and was jailed for offenses that had not been proven, Mercado said.

And of course I will vote for teacher Neric. Google his name.
First on my ballot, Teacher Neric Acosta!!!! Try nu rn.
Still thinking whether or not I should vote for this guy. On paper he really good…. Had him on my list…but then he really did bad on that debate with Remulla…the debate shown this guy is not a promising candidate…I agreed with his side of the debate but he dwelled too much on what’s written on the LP web site which is full of general gibberish and shown that he did not do his homework…. the senate is all about homework…..if someone close to him ever reads this he’s gotta advise this guy to use all that education he’s got on paper and present more solid ideas on topics and just not the ride on the Noynoy Magic that the LP rides on….he got potential but he really needs to use it to have a chance at winning….do your homework next time and ya get my vote along with more to follow……..
He has my vote.I will vote any senatorial Candidate from Mindanao.
I’m also on the fence on this guy.
